Central Wheatbelt Imports have been supplying snatch straps manufactured locally from Australian webbing since 2016.
Please note that recent legislation changes have increased the recommended size on all shackles being used on straps and bridles.
Why Choose Our Snatch Straps?
Heavy-duty and long-lasting, we stock the best Australian made Snatch Straps, Bridles and Shackles on the market and can have custom size Snatch Straps and tow straps made to your requirements.
Specifically designed to extract stuck machinery, our range of snatch straps caters from the very small to the very big, including snatch straps suited to 4×4’s, tractors, trucks and machinery along with bridles to spread the pull load over two tow points, recommended for Grain Harvesters and Self Propelled Sprayers.
We can have straps made to your custom requirements, usually within two-five working days.
Treated properly and stored clean and dry, these straps are an investment that will last a long time. We continually receive great feed-back on the quality and durability of these straps. The the most common comment we hear is that operators don’t get as stuck (trying to get themselves out), as having a strap on hand makes extracting bogged machines a much easier and simpler task and a much smaller towing tractor is required.

How Do Snatch Straps Work?
Snatch straps are constructed from nylon, designed to stretch to 20-30%, when under load. The kinetic energy stored in the strap whilst under tension generates an improved pulling power for extracting the bogged machine.
Not only do the straps assist the vehicle recovery itself, but they also reduce the risk of vehicle damage during the recovery process.
While snatch straps are highly effective in recovery operations, they can also be highly dangerous if not used correctly. Make sure you are using the right sized straps for your vehicle and machinery and be sure to follow the instructions carefully, to avoid accidents and injury.
A snatch strap is not designed for towing and should never be used for this purpose.
